The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee has just issued Official Letter No. 5109/UBND-KGVX directing the implementation of Decision No. 2161/QD-TTg dated September 29, 2025, of the Prime Minister on approving the Program to encourage private sector enterprises to participate in building telecommunications infrastructure and other infrastructure for national digital transformation until 2030.

In the context of a rapidly growing digital economy, telecommunications must shift its role: not just as a connectivity infrastructure, but as a digital capacity infrastructure for businesses and society, contributing to creating new growth drivers for the country.

In the context of globalization and digital transformation, Vietnam’s telecommunications infrastructure is constantly developing to meet the ever-increasing demands of society. According to the Information and Communication Infrastructure Development Plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, by 2030, telecommunications infrastructure will reach many important milestones, becoming a solid foundation for the development of the digital economy and digital society.
