The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee has just issued Official Letter No. 5109/UBND-KGVX directing the implementation of Decision No. 2161/QD-TTg dated September 29, 2025, of the Prime Minister on approving the Program to encourage private sector enterprises to participate in building telecommunications infrastructure and other infrastructure for national digital transformation until 2030. -

By 2026, the Telecommunications Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology aims to bring Vietnam’s digital infrastructure on par with advanced countries: mobile speeds reaching 170 Mbps, fixed speeds 300 Mbps, 99% of the population covered by 5G, and 40% of the population able to access 1Gbps broadband.
