In the context of globalization and digital transformation, Vietnam’s telecommunications infrastructure is constantly developing to meet the ever-increasing demands of society. According to the Information and Communication Infrastructure Development Plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, by 2030, telecommunications infrastructure will reach many important milestones, becoming a solid foundation for the development of the digital economy and digital society.

By 2026, the Telecommunications Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology aims to bring Vietnam’s digital infrastructure on par with advanced countries: mobile speeds reaching 170 Mbps, fixed speeds 300 Mbps, 99% of the population covered by 5G, and 40% of the population able to access 1Gbps broadband.

VNPT Hanoi has proactively strengthened its network infrastructure, deployed technical personnel on duty day and night, and implemented numerous contingency plans at the National Convention Center.
