Enhancing telecommunications infrastructure to serve the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress.

The 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026 – 2031 term is an important political event of the country, taking place from May 11 to May 13, 2026, at the National Convention Center (NCC) in Hanoi, with the participation of nearly 1,200 official delegates and numerous guests.

As a key telecommunications and information technology enterprise, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) was assigned the task of setting up and fully sponsoring the telecommunications and transmission infrastructure system serving the Congress. Following the Group's direction, VNPT Hanoi promptly implemented the technical plan on site, ensuring that the entire information system operated stably and continuously throughout the event.

In preparation for the Congress, VNPT Hanoi's technical teams from the Infrastructure Center, Tu Liem Telecommunications Center, Project Management Board and many related units coordinated to synchronously deploy infrastructure components. The entire transmission channel system, LAN and high-speed WiFi networks were installed, configured and rigorously tested before being put into operation, meeting the connectivity and operational requirements of the Organizing Committee as well as the usage needs of participating delegates.

In particular, VNPT Hanoi activated two high-speed Internet channels with a capacity of 500Mbps, operating continuously from May 10 until the end of the Congress, to meet the demand for large-volume data transmission. At the same time, the VinaPhone mobile network in the area of the National Convention Center was also reinforced with increased broadcasting capacity, with regular quality measurements conducted to ensure stable communications and prevent localized network congestion.

Information security and incident contingency measures were given special attention by VNPT Hanoi. All equipment was thoroughly inspected and strictly accepted before being put into operation. The unit also developed an information incident response plan and arranged experienced technical teams to be on duty 24/7, closely following the Congress's working schedule to promptly handle any situations that might arise.

Ensuring telecommunications infrastructure and information security for the Congress further demonstrates the capabilities, experience and responsibility of VNPT Hanoi in particular and the VNPT Group in general in supporting major political events of the country, contributing to the overall success of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
